I originally developed this design in 2009 — the Pirate Vest returns as a limited-edition Jonesea style.
Built with a 3" smoothie chest stripe and onyx black front and back, giving the vest a sleek, minimal silhouette built for California surf. There are no logos on the outside — simple, clean lines that are non-existent in the surf world today.
I personally chalk, cut, silkscreen, and sew each vest in my Costa Mesa studio using custom Japanese limestone neoprene I design.
Built to Last: Seams are hand glued and single blind-stitched for strength and longevity.
Designed for 65-75°F+ water temps.
